NYC's Domino Park Paints Large Circles to Encourage Social Distancing

Domino Park in New York City prepares for the warmer weather upon us as people will tend to be outdoors as temperature rises. With the current COVID-19 outbreak, safety precautions are necessary and the park paints large circles measured six feet apart across the grass for social distancing purposes.

Recently, the park saw a lot of park goers that covered the five acre area, where it beautifully hosts the iconic fog bridge, fountains, and courts for sports such as volleyball and bocce. To combat this, the circles were painted to maintain control and security while the pandemic is still searching for a more viable solution. The park is privately owned and not under the city's Department of Parks and Recreation.
