Quentin De Coster's Ingenious Solution for Taking Daily Medication

Quentin de Coster is a young Belgian designer who has created an innovative container to make the task of taking daily medication an easier pill to swallow.

The daily pill container, DOLL, takes its form from the shape of a Russian Matryoshka doll. DOLL consists of a beech wood base and three different sized grey cups. When stacked upside down onto the base, the concave bottom of each cup provides an additional level to hold pills. The four levels help to isolate allotments of pills by type or separate pills to take with each meal. The design marries form and function beautifully, and manages to bring a bit of joy and humour to an otherwise onerous task.

Although DOLL was primarily designed for the elderly, the product has the potential to appeal to a wider range of people that are required to routinely take medication or daily supplements.
