Dhe Phantom 3 Drone is Capable of 4K Recording

The Phantom 3 is the new line of camera drones released by DJI Innovations. Comprising the Phantom 3 Professional and Phantom 3 Advanced, these drones represent the latest DJI Innovations idea, building on the Inspire 1 drone.

The Phantom 3 Professional has a camera with a maximum resolution of 4K and 30 frames per second, while the Phantom 3 Advanced manages 1080p at 60 frames per second. Both cameras are fitted on a 3-axis stabilizing gimbal, shoot 12-megapixel photos and are equipped with F2.8 lenses with 94-degree fields of view.

Essential camera settings such as ISO, shutter speed and exposure can be manually controlled via the companion app, or indeed via physical controls located on the included radio remote control unit.

As camera drones become more affordable and more people consider buying one, it has become important for manufacturers to diversify their offerings, and this is exactly what DJI Innovations is doing with the Phantom 3 Professional and Advanced offerings.
