Digimon Survive Will Finally Release This Summer

Bandai Namco has announced that its long-awaited title Digimon Survive will finally be released on July 28th. The game was initially slated for release in 2019 but was delayed due to COVID-19. Players can partner up with the digital monsters (Digimon) to battle in the decision-based game. Digimon Survive also celebrates the anime’s 25th anniversary.

A group of teenagers led by Takuma Momozuka find themselves lost on a school field trip. The students are transported to a new world filled with over 100 Digimon and what feels like danger looming overhead. The battles are fought in a 2D, classic SRPG style, perfect for a dark tale of survival and friendship. The game will be available on PlayStation, PC, Nintendo Switch, and Xbox.
