The New Diet Coke Packaging Features Bright, Cheery Colorways

Coca-Cola has one of the most recognizable brand identities in the world, but that hasn't stopped the soft drink giant from undergoing a massive rebrand with its new Diet Coke packaging. The top-selling zero-calorie beverage is getting a makeover with slim cans and a colorful design as well as a few new flavors to offer more variety.

For 35 years, Diet Coke has been a singular product. However, in light of the wide variety of drink flavors available from competing upstarts like La Croix, Coca-Cola has chose to respond with four new options: Ginger Lime, Feisty Cherry, Zesty Blood Orange, and Twisted Mango. These flavors come in brand new Diet Coke packaging that features monochromatic colorways and simple illustrations of each fruit.

The Diet Coke redesign shows that even massive players need to reevaluate their branding when facing changes in the industry.
