The Moorten Botanical Garden occupies the former residence of silent movie star Chester "Cactus Slim" Moorten and his wife Patricia.

When visiting, the experience consists of over 3000 species of magnificent cacti and succulents. The trail spans for not more than an hour and is a dog-friendly space as long as owners clean up after their pets.
