Los Angeles-based designer Brendan Ravenhill is often recognized for his spectacular work in the realm of lighting design, but his new expansive 'Deck' series spotlights another area in his work. The Deck series is comprised of outdoor furniture pieces made with Loll Designs. The collection offers a Deck chair, Deck chair ottoman, and a Deck chair side table, all in a wide range of colors. All three furniture pieces are constructed from high-density polethylene HDPE. This material is a durable recycled plastic that is mainly composed of milk jugs.
The three-piece Deck series comes in a total of 11 different colors, such as bright green, sand, gray, orange, red, light blue, dark blue, white, dark green, black, and purple. A unique element from the collection is found on the Deck chair -- there is a integrated bottle opener located beneath the arm rest for summer lounging.
