The New York-based illustrator and concept artist David Kawena turns Disney Heroes into heartthrobs surpassing the likes of real-life studs. The ongoing project includes characters such as Aladdin, John Smith, Prince Eric and many more.
Kawena takes classic 2D animated cartoons and inspiration from professional model photo shoots and combines them. The series uses lots of body shots as well as facial and mug shots. Stripping them down to their jockeys, the artist makes it so that these handsome hunks have definitely got your attention with their pumped-up, scantly clad bods.
After looking at this series, having a crush on a cartoon character does not seem so silly.
