Das Days Offers an Open Platform for Creatives & Skaters

Heading for its closing weekend in New York, Das Days promotes socialization, artistry and communal growth. The festival is hosted by adidas Skateboarding and it offers a series of events that celebrate the creative tendencies of street culture.

As part of the Das Days schedule, Showcase X is marked with immense success and hype. This particular exhibition is housed at Milk Studios in Chelsea and its contents are arranged by renowned American skateboarder Mark Gonzales. The event did not only showcase the best of New York's emerging and established talent, however. It also celebrates the 20th year anniversary of Gonzales' first performance art piece that was done in collaboration with Johannes Wohnseifer at the Städtisches Museum in Abteiberg, Germany. To honor this, the skateboarder gave two surprise performances on the custom-build skate course at the Das Days-housing venue.
