The 'Dark Side of the Moon' Carpet Features Laser Cut Craters

In commemoration of the 40th anniversary of the moon landing, Viennese designer Martin Mostböck has created the Dark Side of the Moon carpet. All you need is one look at the carpet to see that it was inspired by the surface of the moon.

With laser cut craters, the Dark Side of the Moon carpet is a limited edition design created for Vorwork. The designer explains that the inspiration behind his project was the uneven, scarred surface of the moon as well as the surface pattern of the textile material used.
