Nikon's D850 Filmmaker's Kit Gives New Creators Every Tool They Need

Nikon is hoping to entice more movie makers with its dedicated D850 Filmmaker's Kit. While the D850 may not have the same video credentials as the Panasonic Lumix GH5 or GH5S, it still does offer up a host of extensive features, including full-frame 4K UHD video capture at 24/30fps, 8K and 4K timelapse, focus peaking, Zebra stripes, HDMI output and enhanced audio control. The kit is set to enhance many of these camera features, but will also give filmmakers a reason to choose the D850 over Nikon's competition.

Along with the D850 camera, the D850 Filmmaker's Kit features three fast prime lenses that range from ultra-wide-angle to moderate telephoto. The kit also includes an external 4K Atmos Ninja Flame recorder/monitor, a dedicated power kit, docking station and a coiled HDMI cable. Unfortunately, the D850 Filmmaker's Kit does not include a 2.5-inch SSD/HDD drive, but this can be found easily and at a generally low cost.
