Geometric Ice Cream Branding

The Cubic Ice Cream Pints by Green Girl Bakeshop Use Retro Packaging

The branding team at Design Womb created a new identity for Green Girl Bakeshop's cubic ice cream pints and dessert sandwiches. In order to stand out in the vast culinary marketplace, the new designs are inspired by geometry and retro themes.

Drawing inspiration from the unique shape of the cubic ice cream pints, the design team used a checkered pattern for the packaging. The checkers are simple, black and white and resemble a "cloth you might find spread out at a springtime picnic, alluding to simpler times." This design is also used on the exterior of the boxes that contain the pints of ice cream.

As for the logo, Design Womb used a black oval with the pure white silhouette of a female with her hair tied back in retro headband. This logo is placed on each package and the results are said to be "modern, retail-ready and timeless."
