Breathtaking Cube Constructions

La Liberté in Groningen, The Netherlands Could Not be More Bo

La Liberté in Groningen, The Netherlands is a cube structure that is used as an office building and for social housing. This building was completed in 2011 by Dominique Perrault Architecture and is an icon for the urban and social renewal for the area of Gronigen. This development project also represents the city of Gronigen’s attempt to construct more buildings along the main highway in the country of Weg der Verenidge Naties in Southern Groningen. High rise structures are encouraged in this area to limit the amount of green space being used, and preserve the area that has remained untouched.

This building is immersed in an area full of post war social housing, and La Liberté shows multiple boxes in all different sizes. This initiative is a step in the right direction towards preserving the environment and our biodiversity.
