Wendy’s Has a New Crispy Panko Fish Sandwich

Just in time for the 2021 Lenten season, Wendy's has debuted a new Crispy Panko Fish Sandwich.

Wendy's is no stranger to seafood and the brand originally offered a Cod Sandwich that has since been discontinued. In place of the Cod Sandwich, Wendy's is now offering a Crispy Panko Fish Sandwich made with wild-caught Alaskan pollock fillet. The pollock fillet is fried up in a crunchy panko breading and paired with creamy dill tartar sauce, lettuce, dill pickles, and a slice of cheese on a fresh bun. The pollock fillet is said to have a buttery and flaky consistency, which works well with the savory notes of garlic and onion.
