Tate Modern Unveils a Corner Cafe Designed by Holland Harvey

Architecture studio Holland Harvey designs the new Corner Cafe that is located on the ground floor of the Tate Modern Museum in London. Additionally, it also functions at the museum's first-ever late-night bar. It can be found in the northwest corner and the Corner cafe was first designed in 2000. The latest refresh of the modern cafe's interior look kicked off in 2022.

Holland explains the choice of the design, stating that "The Turbine Hall is one of the most successful public spaces in London. It's one of the few indoor places you can go, where people happily sit down on the floor in the middle of the day. And obviously, the Southbank is an amazing public offering as well, so this felt like an opportunity to connect the two, which led a lot of the thinking around the design."
