Cereal Celebrity Portraits

Sarah Rosado Uses Corn Flakes to Recreate Famous Faces

Sarah Rosado is a self-taught artist who stumbled upon her next project while eating her favorite cereal, Corn Flakes. Over breakfast one morning, Rosado was enjoying her cereal and listening to John Lennon when she decided to bring pop culture and cereal together.

A stunningly accurate Corn Flakes version of John Lennon was the result, which Rosado then parlayed into an entire collection of celebrity-inspired cereal creations. Ever since coming across her unique talent, Rosado has recreated many celebrities including Jimi Hendrix, Amy Winehouse, Beyonce and Drake.

To gain inspiration while working, Rosado makes it a point to listen to the artist she is recreating. To create each piece, Rosado typically crushes the Corn Flakes for the finer facial elements. Each portrait takes about five hours to complete.
