Mavisten Edition Presents Its New Copernica Collection

LED design imprint Mavisten Edition introduces its new Copernica collection which is full of lighting that is designed for living spaces of all types. The inspiration stems from Renaissance mathematician and astronomer Nicolaus Copernicus. He discovered that the universe revolved around the sun and not the Earth, changing the way that we understand the solar system.

The collection honors this and it features a pendant, a table lamp, a chandelier, and a floor lamp. All of these are designed around a similar feature, which is a brass ring that orbits a filament bulb. It is also complete with a smoked glass shade that is mouth-blown and aligned with the axis of the brass ring to create an illusion of a sphere to represent the sun.
