Authentically Remodeled Rural Homes

This Contemporary Warm Home is All About Comfort and Nature

Turning a mid-century Lincoln house into a contemporary warm home that would look right at home in an IKEA catalog, creative architecture firm Flavin Architects were able to remodel the ancient abode and harmoniously mix the old with the new.

The remodeling went without a hitch thanks to Flavin Architects efforts, turning the simple old-fashioned house into a stunning contemporary home with a whole lot of authentic accents and rural touches like the exposed wooden beams.

The new design has floor-to-ceiling windows that let natural sunlight in and positive nature-filled vibes because the residents are constantly connected to the outdoors.

"The design rejects the traditional New England house with its enclosing wall and inward posture. The low pitched roofs, open floor plan and large window openings connect the house to nature to make the most of its rural setting," says the architectural team at Flavin Architects.
