Virgil Abloh's 'PAY PER VIEW' Exhibit is About Consumer Art

Fashion designer Virgil Abloh opens an exhibition that is informed by consumer art and contemporary public behavior. Hosted at Kaikai Kiki Gallery in Tokyo, 'PAY PER VIEW' is a creative commentary on the consumerist culture, the art of advertising and the influences of media on the human psyche.

Alongside the consumer art exhibit, there will be a talk between Virgil Abloh and famed Japanese artist Takashi Murakami. In addition, the fashion icon will be offering an "extremely limited" line of 'SPRAY HERE' T-shirts at Murakami’s Bar Zingaro.

Virgil Abloh has truly proved himself to be a Jack of all trades. Praised for his genius behind fashion label OFF-WHITE and recognized for his interdisciplinary collaborations with footwear brands and furniture collection, Abloh is sure to stun the audience with some heavily connotative consumer art.
