The 'On Growth and Form' series of computer-generated flowers from Daniel Brown is an incredible exploration of organic forms that were created all with lines of computer code.
Brown was commissioned to create the digital flowers by the University of Dundee Museum Services for the D'Arcy Thompson Zoology Museum. The flowers seem incredibly-life like, but the textures, shapes and colors that they are created from were inspired by the museum's exhibits.
Previously, Brown collaborated with Mulberry for a Valntine's Day campaign that allowed people to send digital bouquets of flowers to loved ones. Since 2011, the flowers have become all the more life-like and truly like objects that you could pick right out of your screen.
