The cellphone features a retro flip phone aesthetic that drastically cuts connectivity capabilities by only allowing users to call friends, send texts, take photos, listen to music or connect with friends via WhatsApp. The cellphone runs the Linux-based Sailfish OS that will offer compatibility with a variety of Google apps, if desired.
The Commodore Callback 8020 flip phone is powered by the MediaTek Helio G81 with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage. The device also comes preloaded with Commodore 64 games alongside the mobile classic Snake and will come in a variety of finish options when it launches later this year starting at $500.
