Elegant Long Zoom Cameras

The C-Lux Camera Boasts a Premium Design and Peak Performance

Compact cameras with long zoom lenses are rarely designed to be "fashionable," but Leica is hoping to change this with its new C-Lux camera. In terms of performance, the new camera offers up qualities seen in the Panasonic Lumix ZS200 and essentially combines the ZS200's 15x f/3.3-6.4 lens and 1-inch, 20.1-megapixel sensor with a new posh design. Available in 'Light Gold' or a more understated 'Midnight Blue.' Both models will be available for $1,050 and will feature the iconic Leica red badge.

The performance of the Leica C-Lux camera is bolstered by a 49-point fast autofocus, continuous shooting at 10 frames per second and 4K video recording at up to 100Mbps. The 2.33-megapixel viewfinder provides stunning detail and the C-Lux camera is also capable of transferring photos through Bluetooth and Wi-Fi.
