SMS-Based Car Rentals

CityzenCar Makes Renting Vehicles Extremely Simple

CityzenCar is set to make renting a vehicle a piece of cake for people living in France. The service, which has been launched by the mobile commerce brand Netsize, is a peer-to-peer car-sharing network that operates via text message. To rent a car, you just have to send an SMS and you'll receive a text back on an available car's information and location.

With CityzenCar, car owners choose their own car rental rates as well as whether they want to rent their vehicles by the day, hour or week. Then, they will receive SMS rental notifications and if they approve them, they send a message back with where the car can be picked up as well as info about the car, says PSFK. Further, car owners can decide whether they want to deliver the car keys themselves or have an authorized CityzenCar employee to unlock the doors for them.
