TELUS' Christmas Marketing Stunt Treats Phone Users to Holiday Magic

For a festive Christmas marketing stunt this year, TELUS set up a tree outdoors where people could plug their phone directly into one of the baubles on it. This curious tree was placed in front of a gift-wrapped TELUS truck, guarded by a toy soldier. When a few people were brave enough to see what the promise of "holiday magic" entailed and plugged in their phones to be charged, they were treated to surprises like elves, nutcracker princesses and carollers coming out of the truck.

The biggest surprise of all came from Santa himself, who emerged from the purple and green truck bearing a variety of wrapped gifts for the crowd that had gathered including toy panda bears and smartphone gifts for people of all ages.
