GRAACC's Bald Cartoons Support Children with Cancer

April in Brazil marks Cancer Awareness Month and in support of children with cancer, children's hospital GRAACC devised the 'Bald Cartoons' campaign. The campaign features iconic cartoon characters like Garfield, Hello Kitty, Mr. Potato Head, plus the adventurous Finn and Jake with their heads shaved.

In addition to the many medical treatments that no kid should have to go through, one of the roughest parts of radiation kids face is being teased for losing their hair. The Bald Cartoons show that all kids deserve to be seen and treated just as any other child. On the Bald Cartoons website, there are a ton of free downloads including posters and social media avatars you can use to show your support for this cause.
