Chicken Filled Potholes

KFC Gets Into The Pothole Repairing Business

I've always thought of KFC as finger lickin' good chicken, but now we may think of them as street fixin' good. KFC is helping out with the overwhelming pothole problem in Louisville, Ky. All KFC expects in return is to leave a chalk stenciled logo reading “Re-freshed by KFC.”

I think this is a very creative way to help cash strapped governments in helping keep the city safe and looking good.

Implications - Also, this is an excellent way for a company to reach out into the community and do some social good. The other thing that is interesting about this project is that KFC can take chickens that would otherwise be discarded and do something to bolster its brand with them. Great project that I hope I will be seeing more of.
