Peter Tsai's photo essay of Chicago's skyline takes the viewer to new heights. This spectacular art piece illuminates the concrete and glass erections of the city during both the day and at night time. Looking through 'Cloud Chicago,' the buildings appear to be both floating on top of and simultaneously sinking into the surrounding clouds.
Taken over the course of six years, these images of the atmospheric architecture were captured by using the views from the Hancock Observatory and the Willis Tower Skydeck. In addition to this collection, Tsai also has a photo series of icy snowflakes called 'Small Things Made Large' as well as a more personal 'My Chicago'.
