This Art Park Project Will be Displayed at the Chicago Architecture Biennial

United States-based firm Aranda/Lasch created this conceptual project for the Chicago Architecture Biennial 2015. The projects itself is a sensationalized modern day art park. The entire space will consist of gardens, exhibition space, artist residences and visitor housing. Additionally, the space itself is vastly covered with hills, which in turn are covered in rice paddies and a river sits at the base of these hills.

The idea was to create an outdoor and indoor space to present artistic installations such as museum-worthy displays of "Chinese-Indonesian philanthropist proposed on terraced rice paddies in the Bali countryside." The entire conceptual project will take up 161,000 square feet and sit upon the tropical site of Denpasar in Bali.

This project, which is titled Budidesa, will be displayed at the Chicago Architecture Biennial form October 3rd until January 3rd.
