This Fast Food Eatery Boasts a Chic Vintage Interior

Designer Michael Marriott teamed up with the London-based studio 'Brickworth' to design a fried chicken restaurant with a chic vintage interior. When it comes to new restaurants, creating the perfect atmosphere can be a difficult task. These designers managed to create an industrial restaurant interior that is both modern and traditional.

'Bird' is a fried chicken restaurant located in the borough of Islington. The pub is located in a historical building that dates back to the 1930s. In order to restore the building's original 1930s architecture, the designers stripped back the walls to reveal the original brickwork. With the building's glazed bricks on display, the designers decided to add a number of other industrial touches. Perforated grey bricks make up the main bar, while the dining area is covered in orange steel accents. The combination of old and new materials gives the pub a chic vintage interior with a contemporary twist.
