The Palm Pre Makes Legit Run at iPhone Users (CES 2009)
The Palm Pre was a big hit at the Consumer Electronics Show, and after the launch demonstration, the shareholders were rewarded with a 30% runup in the stock price. Obviously, there was a lot of buzz pre-show, and apparently the mobile phone fanatics liked what they saw. Sleek, thin and handsome, the Palm Pre phone will be offered with partner Sprint. The touchscreen phone has a 3.1 display with roller ball and a full QWERTY keyboard that slides out from the phone in a horizontal position. The phone can also be flipped on its side for full horizontal screen viewing.
