Ceramics for Plastics by Roos Gomperts Displays Everyday Objects

Ceramics for Plastics is a design project that brings to light the importance of plastic objects in everyday life. While most people hide their plastic kitchenware away in cupboards and pantries, this project encourages them to display these objects proudly. It provides stunning ceramic vessels to do just that, which will appeal to those who still can't fathom showcasing plastic products on their own. According to the designer, "The coloured plastics look extra-vibrant beside the natural, earthen tones of the accompanying ceramics."

Designed by Roos Gomperts as a graduation project for Design Academy Eindhoven during a work period at Sundaymorning@EKWC, the Ceramics for Plastics project was recently exhibited during Dutch Design Week. A teaser video of the line was created in collaboration with Thalia de Jong.
