The Ceramica Cumella: Shaping Ideas Show Celebrates One Studio

The Ceramica Cumella: Shaping Ideas art exhibit shows off the stunning architectural feats of architect Toni Cumella's studio. Using ceramics to create structures that are more like works of art than practical buildings, he shows the world how versatile the 21st century material truly is. While the studio dates back to the 1880, Cumella introduced a new vision that has since gained it much notoriety.

Hosted by the AA Exhibitions, the Ceramica Cumella: Shaping Ideas art show was curated by Mis-Architecture, which is made up of Christopher Pierce and Chris Matthews. It will show off a variety of work from the Spanish studio, "from the Santa Caterina Market to the Spanish Pavilion at Expo 2005, private villas to the Catalan police headquarters," as put by It's Nice That.
