Cat-Shaped School Buildings

This Kindergarten Schoolhouse Resembles an Architechual Feline

This German schoolhouse is a cat-shaped building that caters to the imagination of a kindergarten class. Through the collaborative efforts of artist Tomi Ungerer and architects at Ayla-Suzan Yöndel, this playful building was brought to life.

The cat-shaped schoolhouse features the face of a cat from its front facade and is complete with two circular windows that resemble eyes. The structure also boasts two triangular ears and its door acts as a feline's mouth. Additionally, the cat's paws and its tail function as slides for the children to play on during recess breaks.

The Die Katze Kindergarten is a symbol of friendship and simultaneously creates a fun place for children to learn and express their imagination. The interior of the school utilizes the cat's massive eyes which provide ample amounts of sunlight.
