Cash App Mobile has been announced by the brand as a new telecom service that's targeted towards the needs of young adults, gig workers and underbanked consumers who need affordable cell service.
The service will run on the AT&T network and will be powered by Gigs with a plan priced at $40 per month that offers access to unlimited 5G connectivity. Users will thus be able to enjoy unlimited data, talk and text, unlimited HD streaming and up to 10GB of hotspot use per month in the US. The plan will also offer data roaming in Canada and Mexico.
Executive Officer and Head of Business at Block Owen Jennings spoke on Cash App Mobile saying, "Modern Earners deserve mobile service that works as hard as they do.
