Cubic-Chic Hotels

'Casa de la Flora' Brings a Modern Feel to a Tropical Beach Location

The Casa de la Flora, designed by VaSLab Architecture, is comprised of thirty-six stunning cubic rooms on one of Thailand's remarkably idyllic beach fronts. The task given to the architects was to ensure that all homes had the best view of the beach as possible; the cubes gave the architects the ability to meet this objective. What's really appealing is that all of the beds are oriented towards the waterfront so that everyone can wake up with a view of the rolling waves.

The Casa de la Flora is fully equipped with all the luxuries of a urban hotel: spa, gym, swimming pool and library. To boot, the hotel has a nice balance between privacy and the facilitation of socialization with other travellers.
