Whimsical Floating Lamps

The Cape Lamp by Constance Guisset Has a Flowing Form

The Cape Lamp by Constance Guisset looks as though it is floating through the air, being pushed along by a gentle breeze from an open window. The light consists of two separate pieces that add to this effect, and come in lighter pastel shades reminiscent of spring weather.

The lighting system is also supposed to look like either an animal or a plant. Considering these two entities come to life after the long winter months, it's appropriate that this design is more of a spring-appropriate piece of furniture. To allow ample amounts of light to shine through, Guisset also made the Cape Lamp slightly transparent, so that brightness emanates from both the bottom and the top area of the lamp, filling the room with warm tones.
