Oat-Based Coffee Drinks

Oatly's Canned Coffee Drinks Feature a Non-Dairy Oat Base

With the rise of coffee culture and plant-based milk, a number of brands have launched ready-to-drink bottles and canned coffee drinks with non-dairy alternatives. While many of these kinds of products tend to favor almond milk and other kinds of nut-based milk substitutes, Oatly's trio of canned coffee drinks set themselves apart in this regard.

The new all-vegan canned coffee drinks from Oatly feature an "oat base" of water and oats, plus other ingredients to create enticing flavors like Mocha Latte, Cold Brew Latte and Matcha Latte. As the non-milk products make the most of oat milk, Oatly notes that the cans may be stored at room temperature outside of the fridge, although they are best served chilled.

Oat milk is emerging as more than just a popular non-dairy beverage, thanks to brands that are producing everything from oat milk ice cream to chocolate bars.
