The hot beverage pods will feature THC-infused drinks including coffee, hot chocolate and tea laced with the herbal stimulant.
As consumers seek out simplified hot beverage products, the CANNCUP offers a cannabis product that fits that model with the addition of a natural pharmaceutical. The packaging for the pods is also fully compostable making it ideal for the environment.
Each pod will have a higher price tag than a conventional hot beverage capsule due to the addition of marijuana inside, averaging at $3 USD. The products are awaiting approval in Canada.
