This Series Captures Life at the Burning Man Festival

Getting us hyped up for the the world's coolest and most intense festival of the year, photographer John Kilar takes us on a trip through the crazy and debauchery-filled world at Black Rock City for the Burning Man festival.

Even though Black Rock City exists for only a temporary period every year, it's home to around the 60,000 people who make their way to the Burning Man festival in Nevada's Black Rock Desert.

Even though it's not a real city, Black Rock City is equipped with everything from an airport, to law enforcement and medical care stores and actual distinct neighborhoods.

Kilar shows us just how wild life can be in this summer city of rock and roll and how people spend their days there.
