To build upon the capabilities of its overhead crib monitor, Nanit announced its Breathing Wear at CES 2019 to track an infant's breathing and sleep movement patterns.
While Nanit's baby camera is compatible with conventional clothing and wraps for infants, Breathing Wear offers next-level insights thanks to shapes printed on the fabric in various sizes, colors and inks. Due to the integration of these shapes, the camera is able to pick up on the subtle movements of babies wearing either the Breathing Band or the Nanit Swaddle from the Breathing Wear range.
Although many kinds of wearables, sensors and trackers are being introduced to offer parents greater insights, these simple fabric solutions are non-invasive and amplify the power of systems like the Nanit camera that parents may already have invested in.
