The Brazilian Red Cross Campaign Shows Humanitarian Acts Equal Survival

Some equations are life-saving, as the Brazilian Red Cross campaign shows. It cleverly uses the immediately recognizable Red Cross logo as a plus sign that connects victims and survivors with workers whose sole purpose is to help them. Thus, the resulting equation is very simple: Red Cross worker plus victim equals a life saved.

The Brazilian Red Cross campaign was conceived and executed by ageisobar, an ad agency based in São Paulo, Brazil. It is centered around a series of black and white images of people in the midst of being saved, allowing the vibrant Red Cross logo to pop out even more.

Art directed by Henrique Mattos, Cristiano Rodrigues with creative direction by Carlos Domingos, the Brazilian Red Cross campaign was photographed by Sergio Buss and copywritten by Daguito Rodrigues.
