Joyce Lai Creates the Bras Up Hanger with Recycled Materials

Joyce Lai is an industrial designer based in Chicago and she has created the Bras Up hanger. It is a 3D-printed structure that is made with the goal of increasing the lifespan of a bra. Bras Up is made from recycled resin and stainless steel with components including side clips and a loop at the bottom.

Lai speaks more on the design, "While some existing products incorporate a similar bulging structure, they often require users to hang bras upright – a method that fails to provide proper support and can lead to misshaping. Bras Up eliminates this issue by allowing bras to be hung only in the correct, upside-down position, ensuring they dry without strain on the fabric or cup structure."
