Tender Greens is Offering Brand New Mediterranean Wraps

Tender Greens is serving up a taste of the Mediterranean with the debut of its brand new Mediterranean Wraps.

Available for a limited time from August 5th through October 7th, the brand new Mediterranean Wraps are a flavorful option that comes in both a meat and vegetarian variety. The meat option is the Mediterranean Wrap with Steak, which combines grilled steak and sumac with red onion, pickled cucumber, creamy tzatziki, harissa sauce, a spinach and herb mix, lemon, and olive oil, all served in a grilled lavash wrap. On the other hand, the Mediterranean Wrap with Falafel features crispy fried golden falafel balls, sumac red onion, pickled cucumber, tzatziki, harissa sauce, the same spinach and herb mix, lemon, and olive oil, all served in grilled lavash. As Oliver Plust, Corporate Executive Chef at Tender Greens, explains, "The combination of fresh herbs, bright citrus, bold sauces and carefully layered textures creates a wrap that’s both satisfying and refreshing."

Trend Themes

  1. Mediterranean Fast-casual Wraps — Limited-time lavash wraps with tzatziki, harissa, pickled vegetables, and fresh herbs show potential for regional flavor profiles to refresh everyday fast-casual formats.
  2. Dual-protein Menu Launches — Parallel steak and falafel options create flexibility for mixed-diet groups while signaling new value in menus that balance meat-forward and vegetarian demand.
  3. Sauce-led Flavor Innovation — Bold condiments such as harissa and tzatziki function as compact flavor systems that can differentiate familiar handheld meals without requiring major operational complexity.

Industry Implications

  1. Fast-casual Dining — Seasonal Mediterranean wraps illustrate how restaurant chains can use limited-time offerings to test global flavors and increase repeat visits.
  2. Plant-based Foods — Falafel-centered handhelds highlight continuing opportunities for satisfying vegetarian meals built around recognizable whole-food ingredients rather than imitation proteins.
  3. Prepared Foods — Layered wraps with fresh, pickled, creamy, and spicy components reflect demand for convenient meals that deliver restaurant-style texture and flavor complexity.
