Designer edibles is marketing in its purest form. Put a grocery store bagel in a Burberry container and you could make 1000% profit.
There’s a theory that people will wear any style of clothes, no matter how ridiculous they may think they are, because they were made by their favourite designer. Many people will question buying an oddly patterned shirt, but once they see the CK tag on the back, they’re sold. I believe this theory would extend to food. If you were presented with a line of brand name edibles you would likely gobble them up no matter how unhealthy they may be.
Hmm, I may have to start my own brand name edibles shop, but first I’m off to grab an Abercrombie and Fitch burger.
