Champagne Cork-Styled Stools

The Bouchon Chair by Radice & Orlandini Has a Celebratory Appeal

The Bouchon Chair looks like it is made out of an oversized champagne cork and for good reason, it was inspired by one. The seat is made out of actual cork that takes on two differently sized spheres, just like a real champagne cork. The top half is larger than the bottom and rests above the metal frame that the latter is slipped into for stability and sturdiness. This design also doesn't need screws or glue.

Designed by Radice & Orlandini for Domitalia, the Bouchon Chair comes in two sizes, one that is a normal stool and the other as a taller bar stool. Minimalist and modern, the Bouchon Chair will nevertheless complement just about any living space it is placed in.
