The Bolt Bench is whimsically unexpected marriage of two very different functions that share the common purpose of enhancing Dear Human's very own studio.
The team required a place to store their bolts of fabric about the place, which can be cumbersome objects. The solution was to assemble a structure to hold them horizontally, making them accessible and out of the way. The Bolt Bench might even nearly be considered to have no footprint at all, for the designer turned the base into a long four-legged seat, inviting a pair of people to repose with curled cloth padding as a backrest.
