Awarded $1 billion in funding to produce initial designs for human-landing systems, in December of 2020, Blue Origin received the green light from NASA "for future Earth observation missions, planetary expeditions, and satellite launches with its New Glenn rocket."
Currently, Blue Origin is on track and competing with SpaceX and Dynetics to land NASA astronauts on the moon in 2024.
