Blockbuster Gets a Revived New Life as a Speakeasy

Blockbuster is considered something of the past, but it lives on through the memory lane of those who were lucky enough to experience the film rental experience. Now, the company gets a new life in Los Angeles as the doors open up once again as a speakeasy.

Right on Melrose, it features a familiar space where guests can walk through the aisles but now are met with menus and posters of cocktails and drinks to select from. They can go to the counter and check out their drinks with a Blockbuster membership card, and a drink ticket to creating a nostalgic experience. Some of the drinks seen on the menu are also playful including "Yoo Hoo, Gusher, Zima, Crystal Clear Pepsi, and Orbitz."
