Holi-Inspired Footwear

Pharrell Williams and adidas's Blank Canvas Collection Marks a Holiday

Pharrell Williams and adidas joined forces in creating the Hu Holi Blank Canvas collection, comprised of three footwear pieces and apparel. The collection is inspired by the Hindu holiday Holi, where people paint their bodies in vibrant colors and throw colored powder into the air. The Blank Canvas collection boasts a contrasting concept with pieces that are in an all-white colorway. This gives the option for people to either keep it the way it is, or decorate it in colored powders in their own customized way.

The collaborative collection encapsulates three different sneaker silhouettes and a track jacket. There is the HU NMD, crafted with the iconic Primeknit upper and Boost midsole, the Tennis Hu PK again with a Primeknit upper but with leather lining, and the classic Stan Smiths. The track top boasts an engineered knit material and has a two-way zipper system with embellished details throughout.
