American architect Jeff Svitak built the house for himself, ensuring that his future residence embodies his character, taste and functional needs. The Redwood House takes up 2,000 square feet and boasts stacked cubic volumes that are connected by a Corten steel floating bridge.
The sleek exterior of the black wood home is matched by its ultra-modern and well-arranged interior. Jeff Svitak maximized the house's extension into the natural environment by way of closed-off natural oases, fully glazed walls and beautiful balconies.
Combining his work with his personal life, Jeff Svitak's new black wood home also boasts a studio space for architectural projects.
